The owners of this 10 year old, Monmouth County, New Jersey, home were complaining about high energy bills.  The thermal scan, conducted during the home inspection, detected a huge void of missing insulation. (pictured in dark blue/purple) This building envelope defect is unacceptable.

Here's an infrared thermal image of a drafty door assembly and cold room, and no wonder.  The homeowner reported that the room was unconfortable.
